Funding & Trusts

Every year surplus funds generated by the BCA are distributed amongst local good causes and organisations such as local schools, centres for the elderly, theatres, Brownies, Guides and Scouts.

If you are seeking funds on behalf of a local community group, charity or not for profit organisation whose activities take place in the local area for the benefit of local, please complete our charitable funds application form.

We are also responsible for the distribution of funds donated by trust and foundations like the Porters Trust to local groups and not for profit organisations.

If you manage or represent a local trust and would like the BCA to allocate awards on your behalf, please contact our chairman.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The BCA organises a number of major events throughout the year which would not be possible without the generous support we receive from local businesses. Sponsorship opportunities regularly arise and if you are interested in supporting any of our events or environmental projects please contact our events lead, Charlotte Sharpe-Neal. With events encompassing sport, literature, fashion and the local environment amongst others, there is a wide range to choose from.
