BCA Barnes Duck Race 2018

Have you seen the cute ducks which are appearing ahead of the BCA Barnes Duck Race on Easter Saturday?  This year you have a choice of red, orange, yellow, black, green, pink or blue – how cool is that? Ducks, which cost £5, are available to buy in advance from the BCA at Rose House, from Natsons newsagent in Church Road and from Laurent Residential at Essex Lodge, Barnes High Street - this year’s sponsors, to whom the BCA is extremely grateful - Laurent Residential is also  celebrating its 25th year of agency in Barnes.  They will also be on sale on Barnes Green immediately prior to the race.

‘Quack-off’ is on Saturday 31st March at 12 noon, upstream from the bridge over Beverley Brook, but make sure you arrive in plenty of time to customise your duck at Wurkshop’s stand.  All entrants will receive a small Easter egg and there will be prizes for the owners of the first, second and third-placed ducks.
