About The Fair

There is something for everyone at Barnes Fair 2024: a carefully selected group of around 300 exhibitors offering fashion, jewellery, gifts and homeware for browsing plus food and drink stalls from some of Barnes’ favourite bars and restaurants including, The Crossing, Rick Stein, The Brown Dog, Ela & Dhani and Arte Pizza.

Our much-loved food and drink area, based alongside Church Road, is back with a delicious BBQ by Ginger Pig and the BCA will of course serve their famous Pimm’s all day. Live music from local choirs and groups will take place on the Bandstand through the day and new for 2024 are 3 traditional Punch & Judy shows performed with genuine Victorian puppets, hand carved in 1890.

Younger visitors will love exploring the fire engine and the Barnes Fair funfair including the much-loved steam powered Gallopers carousel, helter skelter and vintage swings.

A portion of the proceeds from the 2024 event will go to our chosen charity Annabelle's Challenge, in memory of our much-loved colleague, Leyla Hutchings, who passed away earlier this year.

GENERAL FAIR INFO

GETTING HERE - The Fair is held on Barnes Green, London SW13, between 9.30am and 5.30pm. Please note that the traffic is heavy in Barnes and the surrounding areas on Fair Day. The easiest way to approach Barnes Fair is by train to Barnes Station or Barnes Bridge – both are about a 10 minute walk.

CONTRACTORS/EXHIBITORS - Instead of Hammersmith Bridge, you will need to drive over Chiswick Bridge or Putney Bridge to reach Barnes. You will receive details about parking and access to the site, together with a map and a copy of Prospect magazine in late June.
